Inulin Plants produce inulin and use it as a source of energy. This prebiotic dietary fiber is a type of carbohydrate that’s not digested in your body, but is used as “food” by your gut’s good bacteria. Some studies have found that adding inulin into your diet can increase the variety of good bacteria in your gut, which can lead to a healthy gastrointestinal tract. And because it is dietary fiber, inulin can stimulate bowel movements to maintain regularity.
ButyraGen™ (Tributyrin Complex) ButyraGen™ is an innovative, low-dose, tributyrin-based prebiotic that generates consistent levels of butyrate directly in the gut. ButyraGen can be beneficial to anyone, regardless of the state of their microbiome, as long as no activity is required for butyrate production. The butyrate produced by ButyraGen is beneficial for gut health and beyond as a signal molecule, working across the gut brain axis and other gut organoid axes. In order to further increase the production of butyrate, ButyraGen™ also works in synergy with the probiotics.
